The Phoenix Pharmacy Group Cooperative is a unique buying co-operative.
Since being formed over seven years ago, the PPG has consistently grown in membership and has year over year, quarter over quarter, grown its revenue returns to Member stores owners.
All shares of The Phoenix Pharmacy Group Cooperative are member-owned. Thus, all profits passed through to members are tax free to the group.
Our operating model consists of a Board of store owners who manage PPG for the Members. The Board is assisted by a Director (for Contract Negotiations, Vendor Compliance and Administration) and an Operating Manager (for Group Administration and Recruiting).
The Board meets regularly to provide guidance, direct the development of new programs, and monitor ongoing contracts.
There are quarterly membership meetings for all group members. At these meetings results are reported, programs are discussed, selected vendors make presentations and quarterly rebate checks are distributed.
